Dear Parents and Students,
In order to help your student to become better organized I would like to ask each student to bring in a 3 inch binder. This will be called their MOOSE notebook (Management of Organization Skills Everyday). I will provide dividers for each student and begin to teach them how to keep up with their school materials. We will continue to use the BLUE take home folder, if you have not purchased one please send in $1.25 and I will get it for you. The MOOSE notebook will come home with them daily. PLEASE make it a habit to look for it and sign their assignment page daily. The students earn or lose opportunities if it is not signed. If you have any questions about the notebook please send me a note or call 833-1140 and I will return your call when I have a chance during the day. I look forward to seeing each one of you during our Student Led conferences next week.
The following are some dates to remember
October 19: Staff Development Day. NO STUDENTS
October 23 & 25: Parent/Teacher/Student Conference Days. A notice will be sent home so that we can schedule a time that works.
October 25: Vision screening.
Octoper 26: AR Fun Day. You child will only get to participate in this day if he/she has earned their reading goal. A notice will be sent home informing
you if your child has met their goal.
October 29: Flu Shots 9 - 12 only if you returned the permission slips.
